After his own awakening in India, Ramana worked with his teacher, Sri Poonja-ji, as he guided seekers to Pure Awareness. The late Sri Poonja-ji was the student of Sri Ramana Maharshi and named Ramana after this renowned saint of India.
Ramana
combined patterns he observed in Sri Poonja-jis work with his earlier experience of 15 years in Transpersonal Psychology. Out of this came a methodology Ramana calls "Radical Awakening," a
powerful tool to aid the spiritually motivated
to reside effortlessly in the Pure Awareness of the Self. Poonja-ji
gave his personal blessings
and support to Ramana's work.
